Job Description:

BEKA's Applications department has a number of vacancies for trainee lighting designers.




Skills / Competencies Required:

You should be a self starter, have the ability to learn new skills quickly, be enthusiastic, conscientious and willing to work hard whilst sitting behind a computer screen all day. You also need to be completely computer literate.



Minimum Requirements:

If you have passed matric with Science and Mathematics and you would like to pursue a career in Illumination Engineering, then you may just be the right person to apply.



Main Responsibilities:

Successful applicants will be appointed on a 6-month contract basis, extendable to 12 months, depending on performance of the trainee.

At the end of the contract period, successful trainees who have proved their understanding of illumination engineering and that they can carry out design projects successfully, could then at the discretion of the Company be offered permanent employment as lighting designers.
